Cambridge Pink Festival

21st August 2010

Event Time: Saturday 21st August, 2010

The Pink Festival, held in Cambridge, is unlike any other held within the UK as it advertises itself not only to the LGBTQ community and their family and friends, but also to the heterosexual market. In theory this makes it one of the most diverse festivals organised by the LGBTQ community in the country. It is presented as an event available to all for free. It boasts great live music, cabaret, film, theatre and much more... Main attractions include the Main Stage, The Pink Lounge & the Cabaret Marquee.

Some history.

The 2008 event saw sunshine all day, and more than 12,000 people attended.

Separately, on Saturday June 14, Cambridge City Hall held a brunch to celebrate the GLBTQ community. The brunch was a family friendly event, with entertainment, a community awards presentation, and gifts for kids and teens.
