Canterbury Pride

Over the years Canterbury has held host to various Pride events, including the Smallest Pride Weekend in the UK at the Kingfisher Bar, picnics and parades.

The first Parade was in 2005 (with another running the year after). There were just under 500 on the Parade from the Westgate Gardens through the city centre to the Dane John Gardens. They joined around another 500 during the afternoon the picnic and revelries had live music and held around 40 stalls from gay groups to Kent Green party to Kent Fire Brigade.
