Middlesbrough SuperGay Weekender

This will be Middlesbrough's third annual Pride event and promises to be a weekend of fun and frollics to mark the fast approaching Autumn. With over 1500 people attending last years festivities, the weekend shall certainly have a community feel and still be large enough to lose yourself in the crowds!

Last year saw over two hundred strong march through the town centre, starting at Exchange Square promoting diversity and acceptance for the entire community. The weekend included Drag Idol at the Oak Bar, a fun day out in Central Square with rides, stalls and bands (music included pop star Lolly, who performed her hit songs Hey Mickey and Rockin' Robin), Supergay Satur-Gay in the Oak and The Cornerhouse, the SuperGay closing party and of course Superstar Boudoir, the biggest gay club night in the North-east.

2009 seems set to be larger than ever!
